Have your own Comany or Act?

Theatre, Music, Comedy, Dance, Film - well, we're open to anything really!

The festival need performances! As long as it's Shakespeare themed, we're interested! There's four performance spaces to choose from. We are also looking for companies to run workshops if this is something you are interested in.

Please fill out the application form below to enter your company into the festival.

Please note that if we have a high number of applications, we may not be able to accept all companies. Companies chosen will be notified by the 20th March at the latest. Please also note that the festival does not charge you to perform, but does take a 15% administration charge from all profits to cover venue and printing costs. Please include this in your ticket price. Performances can also be free, in which case, the festival will not take anything.

Deadline: 4th March 2019

Guitar Close Up

Busking Slots

Doesn't have to be Shakespeare themed (though that might help!)

We are looking to have buskers playing in and around the Museum - Acoustic, amplified - we don't mind, but you must have your own equipment (apart from lighting - we've got you covered there!). We'll put together a rota for the four days - Please fill out the application form below. Please note that these 'shows' cannot be ticketed, but 'collecting in a hat' is encouraged.

Deadline: 21st March 2019

Circus Artists

Actor's Busking Slots

Are you an actor? Do you have your own costume?

We are looking to have acting buskers playing in and around the Museum - either on your own, or with a few mates, put together a bite-sized scene (up to 10 minutes) from any of Shakespeare's plays! Happy for it to be set in any time period. Alternatively, you could perform Shakespeare themed improv (but we might ask a few more questions about your act!) We'll put together a rota for the four days - Please fill out the application form below. Please note that these 'shows' cannot be ticketed, but 'collecting in a hat' is encouraged.
