AUDITION DETAILS
When: Friday 28th February 7pm - 9pm
Saturday 29th February 5pm - 8pm
Where: Chalford Hill Methodist Church, Midway, Chalford Hill, Stroud, GL6 8EN
(Full location, including directions, given on their website) There is parking available at the church.
Drop in anytime during open times. Auditions should only take around 5-10 minutes, but you may have to wait to be seen. Whether this is your first Shakespeare or your upteenth - we'd love to see you.
Please take a moment to click on 'attending' on our Facebook event page so we can get an idea of numbers.
You are not expected to have memorised audition pieces, but please familiarise yourself with them. Please note, you may be asked to read for more than one character. Print-outs of the audition pieces will be available to use. Click the button below to take a look.
Please also note that in the production, all roles will be required to sing - not necessarily tunefully. We may ask you to sing a couple of lines in the audition (with us if you like) - Please let us know if this is an issue. If you play any instruments - please bring along with you with a short prepared piece.
Auditions for the roles of Phebe / Amiens and Corin / God of Marriage are asked to prepare a short section of a folk song, and to bring any instruments they may play.

Runtime: Approx 110 minutes, no interval
Please ensure you are available for these five dates.
REHEARSALS
Rehearsals will commence in May 2020, and run until August. Rehearsal days are Thursdays 19.00 to 21.30 and Sundays 13.00 - 18.30 (Venue TBC, but will be in Stroud)
You will not be required at every rehearsal, and we will do our utmost to ensure that you are not called to a rehearsal that you are not needed for.
If there are any days you know you cannot rehearse, please provide these on the audition form at the audition.
