Where: The Cotswold Playhouse, Parliament Street, Stroud (full address, including directions, given on their website)
Time: 11.30 - 16.00
Drop in anytime between 11.30 and 16.00. Auditions should only take around 5-10 minutes, but you may have to wait to be seen. Auditions will take place upstairs at the Cotswold Playhouse, but please register and wait in the Foyer downstairs until you are called. Whether this is your first Shakespeare or your upteenth - we'd love to see you.

You are not expected to have memorised audition pieces, but please familiarise yourself with them. Please note, you may be asked to read for more than one character. Print-outs of the audition pieces will be available to use. Click the button below to take a look.
Please also note that in the production, all roles will be required to sing - not necessarily tunefully. We may ask you to sing a couple of lines in the audition (with us if you like) - Please let us know if this is an issue.
Performance dates (@ Museum in the Park, Stroud):
Thursday 30th May 2019 (Evening)
Friday 31st May 2019 (Evening)
Saturday 1st June 2019 (Evening)
Sunday 2nd June 2019 (Matinee, Evening)
Runtime: Approx 90 minutes
There may be an additional performance at 'The Dell', Stratford-upon-Avon, on a weekend in July, but this is TBC, and dependant on cast commitments.)
Performances will take place every day of the festival, times will be set once we have timetabled the whole festival. Please ensure you are available for these four dates.
Rehearsals will commence in March 2019, and run until the Festival in May. Rehearsal days are Tuesdays 19.00 to 21.30 and Sundays 13.00 - 18.30 at The Cotswold Playhouse.
You will not be required at every rehearsal, and we will do our utmost to ensure that you are not called to a rehearsal that you are not needed for.
There will also be a meeting in February 2019 for you to meet the other cast members / production team, and to have a read through of the play.
If there are any days you know you cannot rehearse, please provide these on the audition form at the audition.
